JMU Turns 100

Yesterday James Madison University students, faculty, and staff formed a gigantic human “100” on the Quad in front of Wilson Hall. The act commemorated the University’s 100th birthday. James Madison University first opened in 1908, but at that time it was known as The State Normal and Industrial School for Women at Harrisonburg.

Happy Birthday JMU.
