Worst Carbon Emitting Counties in the U.S.

A new report published by the Vulcan project ranks the 20 worst emitting counties in the United States. Harris County, Texas (Houston); Los Angeles County, California; and Cook County, Illinois (Chicago) topped the rankings.

None of the Virginia Counties made the list.

    interesting how one of them is actually named “Carbon”.

    It would be more interesting to see how the counties stack up in per capita carbon emissions. That’s the real number to watch, because counties vary widely in size and population density.
